Republican state legislatures have passed local voting laws aimed at restricting voting access for communities of color according to civil rights advocates.
Federal bills aimed at ensuring that every citizen is granted their undeniable right to vote such as S1, The For The People Act and HR4, The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act are being stalled in Congress.
Many have come before us overcoming greater challenges.
