Latest highlights … economic information to discuss at our April meeting:

• New jobs were +303,000 in April job growth + 22,000 revised new jobs for Jan & February reported in the April BLS report
• New Unemployment rate dropped to 3.8% reported in the April BLS report
• Average hourly earnings for all employees for last 12 months reported in the April BLS = 4.1%

Gov’t shutdown was averted in the last few days .. details to follow on Tuesday.
