US Economy continues on it’s Strong but not to Strong Economic trend… Stock Market Agrees .. Hitting Records.. the Biden administration has “unchained” this “not to hot nor not to cold economy for 39 straight months” ..
Special new areas of discussion will continue in April: 1)Biden economy vs. Trump economy (pre Covid), 2) Immigration contribution to economy and 3) CBO latest 10-year forecast
Latest highlights … economic information to discuss at our May meeting:
- New jobs were +175,000 in April job growth, March was revised up +12,000 and February revised down by -34,000 as reported in the May (April) BLS report
- New Unemployment rate holds under 4% @3.9% reported in the May BLS report
-PPI rises .005 (.5%) in April.. for 12 months is up 2.2% (.0022)
- Average hourly earnings for all employees for last 12 months reported in the April BLS = 4.1%
- The labor force participation rate held at 62.7 percent in April
