As Senator Dick Durbin recently stated, Trump’s executive order banning travel from certain Muslim countries is unjust, unconstitutional, and un-American.
We will stand with all immigrants and refugees in the Northwest Suburbs and across the State as all are welcome here.
There are ICE deportation raids taking place all over the country, families are being torn apart. We are a nation of immigrants and we will not be silenced, our voices will be heard loud and clear. We will Resist and stand up and speak out for the human rights of our Muslim, immigrant and refugee brothers and sisters.
