June 24 is the second anniversary of the fall of Roe v Wade, when half the population of the country lost their rights to have control over their own bodies

While Illinois now is a stronghold of protections for women, if President Biden is not re-elected in November, even in Illinois we will not be protected from a religious minority determined to strip women of their rights.

We will be out at Volunteer Clock Tower Plaza in Palatine from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 24–and every Monday at this time until the election, to remind our community about what’s at stake in this election. Join us on June 24 after work for a show of force to declare that women will be heard in this election.

June 24th marks two years since the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade and federal constitutional protections for abortion. During this Weekend of Action – Majority Over MAGA – we are shining a light on MAGA extremism and the power of the movement fighting back against it to protect our personal freedoms and reproductive rights.
