Heartland Resistance Coalition will be discussing Filibusters at 12 Noon, Saturday April 10th at the IISJA meeting.
Presented by Rosie Rees, Rosie’s presentation will be “Understanding the Senate Filibuster”. She will provide an historical perspective of the filibuster and explain how it works today to impede Congressional action, how it might be changed or eliminated, and who and what is standing in the way of progress to that end.
