The NWSOFA Fiscal and Economic Issues group will meet VIRTUALLY in October. The Zoom room will open by 6:50 pm. Come join us and share your thoughts.
David and Karl will be updating the fiscal and economic data and will present it in October:
“Come learn about the current state of the US economy.”
Lots of economic information being released before the November midterms for us to talk about:
- 263,000 jobs added in September
- September CPI and PPI numbers will be published this week
- Fiscal year 2022 ended on September 30th. Spending and deficit numbers should be available within the next two weeks
- Real GDP growth for the 3rd quarter will be published the last week of October
- Crude oil and gas prices have started to go up in advance of the OPEC+ production cutback
