NWSOFA Indivisible Election Watch Party

Time: 7:00pm

For more than two months Indivisible Illinois, NWSOFA and Ballot Z have joined forces to promote participation in the upcoming municipal races through social media.  We were compelled to act by the dismal turnout in past elections.  We strived to call attention to these important races.  While some of the races that we promoted were nonpartisan, many of the local board seats are the backbone of the Democratic party.  All of the offices have a direct impact on our lives, in many instances more so than federal offices.

We understand, especially after experiencing our political climate during the last four years, that in order for Democracy to thrive, we must participate and do our part to support and nurture it.
