Join NWSOFA for a presentation by Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton as he introduces the new Cook County program “United Against Hate”. This program is the first of its kind in Illinois. We all need to stand together on this issue. Standing against hate starts with education and understanding what you can do about it. With school starting, we should anticipate attempts to dismantle the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs that have been implemented in many school districts or may be in the process of being implemented. We need to recognize, be aware and resist any and all of these attempts.
