Stand with Women. Community Night: Celebrate & Connect – In-Person at Palatine Library, April 8 @7pm
April 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
Join Us for a Night of Community and Connection
You are cordially invited to an in-person evening of community, connection, and celebration! On Tuesday, April 8th, gather with us at the Palatine Library (700 N North Court, Room 1) as we come together to share, support, and uplift each other. Whether you’re an activist making “Good Trouble” or someone seeking a space to connect with like-minded individuals, this event is for you. We will begin at 7 PM, so please join us at 6:45 PM to get settled.
A Night of Comfort and Celebration
This special evening is designed to nourish both body and soul. Enjoy comfort foods, share your favorite finger foods, and savor the company of friends and community members. We will provide hot water, hot chocolate packets, decaf coffee, and fruit-infused water, so feel free to bring your favorite tea. Take a moment to breathe, relax, and let the soothing music transport you to a place of peace. We will also celebrate recent successes, including the wins in school board and township elections, and the passage of the Community Mental Health Referendum.
Let us know you will be attending … RSVP here-> https://mobilize.us/s/A8CfCg
Share, Learn, and Grow Together
This event is a space for sharing stories, listening to each other, and learning from our collective experiences. If you have a relaxation tip or a favorite way to unwind, we’d love to hear about it. Bring any information about upcoming events or organizations you’d like to share, as our NWSOFA leaders will also be sharing updates on future activities. This is a time to heal, to laugh, and to look forward to what’s next. Whether you’re a seasoned activist or just starting to get involved, you are welcome here.
Bring a Friend and Join the Momentum
If you know someone who could benefit from this evening of connection and community, please invite them along! We are on a roll after recent victories, and we want to keep the momentum going. Don’t forget to join in the Nationwide Day of Protest on Saturday, April 5th, and bring your energy and enthusiasm to our gathering on April 8th. Together, let’s continue to make a difference and support each other every step of the way. We look forward to seeing you at the Palatine Library!
