As national politics grow more chaotic, women are stepping up to defend progressive values and protect their communities. NWSOFA/Indivisible invites you to a vital discussion on how local action can safeguard Illinois from harmful federal policies, with a focus on Women’s Issues: Education, DEI, Mental Health & Housing w/Local Candidates
Each day the new administration brings more chaos, leaving many feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. But as activists, we must stay informed.
That’s why we must focus on the upcoming April 1st election, ensuring that progressive candidates for School, Village, and Township Boards are elected. We have three local candidates who will speak on these issues.. including: Jane Russell, candidate for HS District 211 School Board and Natalie Sahinoglu, running for Palatine Township Trustee.
Attendees will also discuss how national events affect them personally, explore ways to support women running for local office, and reinforce the power of grassroots activism in shaping policies that matter most to women and families in Illinois.
