August BLS Economic Data Released 9/06/2025..

Key Data: Not Good News!

– Jobs gain 22,000 new jobs in August (estimates were 75,000)

– Major adjusdtment last 12 months of -911,000

– June & July adjusted DOWN by -21,000 JOBS

– Unemployment rose by .1% @ 4.3%

– Inflation (CPI) rose .2% in July, 12-month + 2.7%

– Producer Price Index (PPI) rose 0.4% in August .. Annual up.2 to 2.9%

– Participation rate rose by .1% to 62.3%
