Our July NWSOFA Meeting will feature two exciting and timely presentations.
We invite you to gather with us on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 7:00 pm on Zoom as we come together – to stand together – to honor the more than 120 people who are shot and killed every single day in the United States where gun violence is now the leading cause of death for children and teens.
Speakers
Maria Galo, Palatine Township Democratic Committeeperson,
Maria will focus on local elections and candidates including information on their positions on Gun Violence Prevention issues. She will also cover a wide variety of ways that we can get involved in getting information out about these candidates and getting out the vote in this year’s extraordinarily important elections.
Cathy Risberg, Co-Leader for the NWSOFA GVP group
Cathy will discuss hows the Republicans’ blueprint for America if they win the presidency in this year’s election: Project 2025 will impact guns in America and gun violence in America. This is very important information that we all need to know more about!
